Where are gifts to the Minnesota Medical Foundation directed?
Gifts to the Minnesota Medical Foundation support education and research in the University of Minnesota Medical School, School of Public Health, Masonic Cancer Center, and other related units in the University’s Academic Health Center. In fiscal year 2005 contributions went to research (52%), academic support (26%), capital improvements (13%), student scholarships (5%), and other areas (4%). In addition, the Minnesota Medical Foundation also works with three affiliate organizations: the Bob Allison Ataxia Research Center, and the International Hearing Foundation.
