Where are fathers rights in abortion issue?
I have read a lot of articles about abortion, but I keep searching for one article that is written about a father’s rights. I have read all about how it is a women’s body and how she can do with her body, as she sees fit. I disagree with the part about doing whatever she sees fit, even if it is her body. The reason being, she had sex with the child’s father before she became pregnant. Now the child’s father has or should have the same rights as the expecting mother, but he doesn’t. Why isn’t the father’s opinion or written consent needed before a woman can get an abortion? I do not believe a woman should be able to go and get an abortion without the mutual written consent of the father. Where are the rights of a father? A woman can go get an abortion without the father ever knowing he was a dad.
