Does ELAN Snowboards also produce boards for other brands? Currently we make boards for 10 other brands. Approximately 20% of all snowboards produced come from our Factory in Austria. How did ELAN Snowboards get started? Elan has developed and produced boards for nearly every major name in the snowboard industry. Since the beginning, we’ve been a driving force in our sport, leading the way year after year in new technology and innovation. In 1998, recognizing a niche in the market place and with distributors in many countries eager to jump on board, Elan entered the market with its own brand, Elan snowboards. With our Austrian Factory of 200+ employees focused on making the best snowboards, we continue to drive development trends around the world.
