The Eastern Montana Telemedicine Network has 22 sites in 15 counties using two way interactive video conferencing technology to deliver specialist medical and mental health services, continuing medical and higher education, administrative and telebusiness services regionally and nationally. “We average more than 200 clinical encounters per month,” said Thelma McClosky-Armstrong, its director. Those encounters have expanded to include not just physicians, but also diabetic nurse educators, speech pathologists and other health professionals.
