Dolphins are found all over the world. Some types live in only a small area. Other types can live in many different places. Bottlenose Dolphins seem to be found almost everywhere! Most live in the sea but occasionally travel up rivers for short periods. In India, China and Brazil there are dolphins which have become adapted to living in rivers all the time….. in britian There are Bottlenose Dolphins living in the Moray Firth, Scotland, and in Cardigan Bay, Wales. Cornwall also seems popular but they can be seen all around our coasts from time to time. The Western Isles of Scotland such as Coll and Mull are good places to see many different types of whales and dolphins. Harbour Porpoises come close inshore to feed, especially in bays and around headlands. Keep your eyes open!
