Full-time, in-state or out-of-state tuition is paid automatically from grant funds for all predoctoral trainees for at least two years. Predoctoral trainees must enroll in at least 10 credits of course work each term. Continued support for full- or part-time tuition thereafter depends upon funds available. Trainees should make an appointment with the Manager at the beginning of their appointment to fill out and sign the Statement of Appointment. This ensures that trainees will receive their stipend check and tuition fees on time. Predoctoral stipends are uniformly set for all trainees by the U.S. Public Health Service. http://grants1.nih.gov/grants/guide/notice-files/NOT-OD-06-026.
