Where are common places to find Garter snakes and whats an effective way to catch them?
Where I used to live there were garter snakes in my backyard and I caught them sometimes. I would always find them under rocks (crowded rocks) and sometimes under logs. You could even make homes for them by gathering old logs and rocks in one place and wait a while for them to make their home. I just caught them with a glass bottle with holes on top and a stick. I would place the jar in front of it and gently push it in with a stick. A stick wasn’t that good try using the jars cap or something wider.
