Where are biofuels used?
Bioethanol is most currently used in Brazil, where there have been policies in place since the 70s, promoting and encouraging the production and use of bioethanol as fuel for transportation. More than half the vehicles run on e25, and the arrival of FFVs to the market is further promoting their use. In the United States, there are already 6 million FFVs on the roads and the interest of the consumers in this type of engines is increasing. This same situation occurs in Europe, which has seen how biofuels are a solution to todays environmental problems and the FFV market has just been launched, awakening the interest of drivers.
