Where and when does Dolce perform?
We sing at competitions and do a small number of performances too. During the first week in November we go to Sligo for the Choral Festival; later in November we compete in Kilcoole. For the remainder of the first term we sing Christmas music and go carol singing for charity or sing at concerts. In December 2006 we sang at Farmleigh. During our second term we sing in the Oireachtas in April, in the Feis (March or April) and in the Cork Choral Festival (May Bank Holiday weekend). We are also planning to sing at some choral festivals abroad details to be arranged based on member interest and availability. From time to time other performance opportunities arise eg members of Dolce have joined with other choirs for the 40 Songs of Green performances in the National Concert Hall and in the Olympia. We are always open to invitations to sing at events just let us know!
