Where and how do I establish the correct buffer size for ReWire and MelodyneBridge operation?
In recent Melodyne versions, it is no longer necessary to set the buffer size for ReWire or the MelodyneBridge; Melodyne does it automatically based on the buffer size of the host. When the buffer size of the host driver is small, the effect is to increase the overload, so there is much to be said for increasing the buffer size in the host. On the other hand, excessively large buffers can lead to problems elsewhere. The aim, therefore, is to find the golden mean for your own particular set-up, which is best done by means of trial and error.
