Where (and how) do children tend to go when they leave Quintilian?
The children from Quintilian do not move into any specific school or education systems. About half of the students go on to other non-government schools and half to a range of government schools. Many of our students take up places at state academic extension, music, sport or drama scholarship programs and some receive scholarships at schools such as Christchurch, Scotch, St Hilda’s, PLC and MLC. The children make the transition from Quintilian to the wide range of government and non-government schools exceptionally well. Students leave Quintilian with highly developed independent learning skills, positive self-concepts, an excellent grounding in literacy and numeracy skills, and a positive attitude towards learning.
