Where and how did Christmas start?
Christmas, the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ began, obviously, after his life and death. WHEN: There is evidence in early writings that such celebrations began as early as the third century (~200AD). WHERE: These celebrations began in the areas where Christianity started and spread, the areas around the Mediterranean, including the middle east, north africa, southern europe.
