Where and how can I find an adult Shiloh Shepherd that needs a home-is there a sanctioned rescue organization?
Sanctioned is another one of those it depends phrases. Because there are multiple registries, there are also multiple rescue efforts each one sanctioned by some organization. Some are grass roots effortspeople on a list find out about a dog that needs rehoming or rescuing and they post information about it. Often times breeders will get a pup or dog returned and they will seek a new home for it. The ISSR has a rescue program strictly for ISSR dogs.
