Only items that are worth less than 100,000np can be bought in shops. If the item is worth more than 100,000 then you will need to search the trading post. Search the trading post by typing the paint brush name in and you’ll find all users who have listed the item. You will then have to make an offer depending on what the user wants or what you’re willing to pay. The user will then either accept your offer or reject it. Some colour you’ve mentioned do not have an actual paint brush, and can only be obtained through the lab map or by the fountain faerie (you need to complete one of her quests to be able to have her colour one of your pets).
