Whenever the player is NOT online what happens to lands and guards they may control?
They are still there and can be attacked, destroyed or looted. These types of actions will however require skill, force, resources and long periods of time. The PCs do not need to be concerned about their property being in ruins every time they log in, but it is possible. You can hire npc guards and pets to protect your lands and property.
