Whenever I uninstall and reinstall Tweaki, my serial number changes and I need to retrieve a new unlock code. Why?
The serial number for Tweaki gets generated when you first install the software. The serial number is unique to that installation of Tweaki. Uninstalling Tweaki will not cause the serial number to change, however, deleting the Tweaki installation folder that remains after uninstalling Tweaki will cause the serial number to change when reinstalling Tweaki. This is because the “JerMar Software Tweaki…for Power Users.SLX” file located within that folder gets deleted when the remaining installation folder gets removed. S: To prevent registration issues with Tweaki backup the file “JerMar Software Tweaki…for Power Users.SLX” located in the folder where you installed Tweaki. Should you need to install and uninstall Tweaki after it has been registered, copying this file back into Tweaki’s installation folder will prevent the need to re-enter registration information.
