Whenever I hear news reports from Iraq, I hear about IEDs and IUDs. What are they?
Often used interchangeably by tongue-tied news anchors and talk show hosts, an IUD is an IntraUterine Device and an IED is an Improvised Explosive Device. American soldiers have been injured by both. We await the first report of a roadside IIUED, or, an Improvised IntraUterine Explosive Device, but we can bet the NSA is listening for american lesbians and Iraqi insurgents collaborating on just such a doomsday weapon.
