Whenever I click a hyperlink in an e-mail message, it wants me to save or open the file. How can I have this changed to just open the link in a browser window?
If you receive this message, it is because Outlook doesn’t know which program to use to open the hyperlinked window. Therefore, from the message window, browse to My Computer, then C:\program files\microsoft and double click on iexplore.exe. If you prefer the Netscape browser, navigate to C:\Program Files\Netscape\Netscape and double click the Netscp.exe icon. I customized a font to go out on “reply to” or “forwarded messages,” but sometimes my customized font does not appear. Instead, the font appears in the standard black font. Why does this happen sporadically? On the reply to or forwarded message window, verify which message format is being used. If it says plain text, that’s because the original person composed the message in plain text, so when you respond, it’s still in plain text. Even if you were to manually change the message format to HTML on your reply or forward, the text would still show up in black, unless you change your font color, size, etc. on the formatting toolbar
