When you talk to recruits do they remember players like Brad Smith, Chase Daniel or Jeremy Maclin?
PS: It depends on where the players are from, really. A lot of the Texas recruits remember Daniel, and reference him when talking about Missouri’s passing offense. The in-state guys — especially wide receivers — almost always mention Maclin. I don’t recall anyone mentioning Smith, but that might be because these current recruits were 12 during his last season at Missouri. I’ll be honest, though. Those names are popping up less frequently in conversation with recruits. As long as Missouri keeps winning and sending players to the NFL, I don’t think it’ll be too big of a problem, though. Now, recruits mention Blaine Gabbert and Sean Weatherspoon most frequently, I’d say. mizzouboy714 asks: Do you see some of the high profile recruits suce as Evan Boehm, Durron Neal, Dorial Green-Beckham, etc., making it to the OU game or any other game?
