When you purchase a gold ingot does it get registered somewhere,like with the government etc…?
There is no reporting I’m aware of for gold. It’s not like buying a gun. If someone tells you you have to give them personal info to buy gold I’d be very suspicious of that. You can buy gold ingots at coin shops but I have to tell you that because of world-wide economic uncertainty the supply of gold is very low and it’s hard to find. Make sure you buy from a reputable dealer and the gold you’re getting is solid, not plated. Like on TV you see coins being offered and they use very convoluted language to make you think you’re buying a solid gold coin at a bargain price. There are no bargains in gold.
