When you feel ovulation pain how long does it take for the egg to reach the fallopian tubes?

An egg may live for about 24 hours in the fallopian tube, so from when you feel the pain around 24 hours sometimes longer if the egg has been fertilised, having pain in that area doesnt always mean your ovulating so cant be used as a guide to pregnancy, if the egg is in the tube and meets with sperm within those 24 hours then pregnancy would normally occure, if no sperm is pressent then the egg will break up in a day or two, if any other eggs are present they will just dry up break away, hope this helps.
