Although, I don’t think you will get much of a bargain on your airfare. I’ve been to England twice a year for the past couple of years, in addition to the month of May, I been there in October and November. The best airfare was in October, 2005, on American Airlines, and by traveling mid-week to mid-week. Having flown Virgin-Atlantic in November, 2006, my preference is American Airlines, which I traveled on 3 of the 4 times. If you look online, almost daily, you’ll be able to find a decent enough fare on the carriers websites. Log On and register, too, that way you’ll get the latest fare updates via e-mail from the airlines. I tried all of the other sites, i.e., Expedia, etc., and their fares were either exactly what the airlines offered, or higher. If you want to fly non-stop, it may be more expensive, but I don’t think you’ll save much by flying more than one stop.
