When will women in Saudi Arabia win the right to drive a car?
First of all, you’re approaching this from the point of view of western society. In Saudi culture, this isn’t women being deprived of driving a car out of spite or malice. It is a religious belief that has been held for thousands of years (not the driving thing alone, but the treatment of women). The Saudi Monarchy are the single largest supporters of terrorism in the world, contributing millions every year to causes that support terrorist groups, either directly or indirectly. Many terrorist recruits are also from Saudi Arabia. This fact means that the government of the country does not lend itself to westernizing the rights of women anytime soon.
