The browser vendors have not announced a schedule yet for supporting SVG as a standard built-in feature. Although the full potential of SVG will not be realized until it ships as a built-in browser feature, the SVG plug-ins for current browsers will still provide tremendous new capabilities for richer graphics and enhanced interactivity. And the Web pages with SVG content that you create today will be fully compatible with built-in SVG support in future Web browsers.
