When will we hear about specific projects or titles from Softkinetic?
Mike Nichols: The Studios team has been hard at work over the past year developing their game Silhouette (which is already announced on several platforms), as well as its game engine and toolset designed specifically for 3D gesture based interactions. We’ll announce more details about additional titles in the near future. What are the current challenges facing gesture based gaming, where do you see the genre going in the future? Mike Nichols: There are many challenges facing gesture based games from all sides. For developers, creating motion based games is unlike creating games using traditional input devices. In many ways, it’s like learning a new language. It takes time for any team working with 3D gestures for the first time to develop the understanding needed to create great games. For Publishers, it’s pushing their product into new markets in addition to traditional markets and educating consumers. In the future we’ll see a host of new products that will expand gesture offerings,
