When will Time Warner Cable carry MASN?
Two separate independent arbitrators have found Time Warner Cable guilty of discrimination against MASN. On October 30, 2008, the FCC’s Media Bureau upheld those decisions upon an additional review requested by Time Warner. Both the second arbitrator and the Media Bureau have ordered Time Warner to begin carrying MASN to its North Carolina customers immediately. Unfortunately, on November 26, 2008, Time Warner Cable appealed to the full Federal Communications Commission the FCC Media Bureau’s order. Time Warner’s appeal will delay carriage of MASN, and deny local NCAA football and basketball, and Major League Baseball to millions of Carolinians. MASN wants nothing more than to return Major League Baseball to North Carolina. We are ready to provide MASN’s signal to Time Warner.
