When will the YOT Case Management Guidance be published?
The Case Management Guidance will provide the detail of how to manage cases based on the requirements set out in National Standards for Youth Justice Services which will include the new sentencing provisions such as the YRO. It makes sense to publish both together so they will both be available from autumn 2009. Ten new Key Elements of Effective Practice were published in July 2008 and outline ‘what to do’ in supervision.
