The WiMAX Forum selected Cetecom Spain as its official certification laboratory. In July 2005, Cetecom will begin testing WiMAX Forum member companies products to certify that they meet WiMAX Forum conformance and interoperability standards. The selection of Cetecom is a critical milestone on the path to enabling the commercial availability of WiMAX Forum Certified products. Headquartered in Spain, Cetecom has affiliate regional labs which will allow WiMAX Forum members worldwide to easily access the testing facilities.
