When will the soundtrack for the new Fame movie (Sept. 09 release date) be available?
I don’t see a specific date in checking online for it. All it says about the soundtrack is “Summer 2009.” Since the movie is a musical, it wouldn’t be all that surprising for the soundtrack to come out before the movie’s release date of September 25. Unfortunately, that doesn’t help in coming up with a soundtrack release date. What I would do: Wait about four weeks, then check on borders.com (mid-July or so). Go to the music tab, then Upcoming, and then narrow the search to soundtracks. Borders sells music and DVDs as well as books, and they’re pretty good about posting release dates. The site doesn’t have anything yet on the Fame 2009 soundtrack, but it’s probably a little early for the soundtrack to be on anyone’s radar. That’s why I suggest checking at borders.com in a few weeks. Another thing you can do is ask at a music store.
