When will the proletariat revolution take place?
The revolution already took place. In Western countries the labor movement gained concessions – 8 hour day, workman’s comp, abolition of child labor, unemployment insurance, old age pensions, and in most countries – free healthcare. Those places where it didn’t happen more or less peaceably had revolutions and wars of national liberation. So we’re beyond that stage (it might still be applicable to places like Somalia, Angola or Vietnam, as they have yet to complete their industrialization) and on an evolutionary path to an economy which produces what people (proletarian and bourgeois) want with public oversight, freedom, and reduced exploitation. We have moved beyond Anarcho-syndicalism and Socialism and are in the new Global Free Market system that was not predicted in the 19th century. There may be more stages, and if you can predict what they will be, you will have a great dissertation topic.
