WHen will the next ps3 price drop be?
A price drop in March is very unlikely in my opinion. I think that a price drop on the PS3 may come sometime around this summer or around the time of E3 2008. A price drop this summer with the release of Metal Gear Solid 4 around the same period would make PS3 sales SKYROCKET and the price drop this summer would build more anticipation for the upcoming other PS3 exclusives coming this fall such as Killzone 2, Resistance 2, and more. In this months EGM magazine, they anticipate that a PS3 price drop will come around this summer as well, but only Sony knows for sure. If the PS3 price drops this summer, I think that the price would drop around $50 dollars. There are rumors that the 40GB PS3 might be dropped to $299, but I think that it will get dropped to $349, but that’s just my view.
