The newly elected Councilmembers will take office one week following the election. A transition meeting, a formal shift from the current Council to the newly-elected Council, will take place on Tuesday, November 10th at 6:00 p.m. If there is a tie or the results of provisional ballots are needed to determine the race, then the oath of office would be delayed only for the affected position.
