When will the High Consequence Area (HCA) data be updated?

HCA data is updated periodically. Commercially Navigable Waterway (CNW) data has been updated only once. PHMSA has no plans to update CNW data in the near future. Population data is released after every US Census. The next Census is set for 2010. There has only been one release of USA data thus far. PHMSA is currently working with contractors to develop the second release of USA data.
