When will the final Queensland Coastal Plan commence?
The public consultation period for the Draft Queensland Coastal Plan will end on 30 November 2009. A final Queensland Coastal Plan will then be prepared in consideration of the submissions received during the consultation period. The Queensland Coastal Plan would come into force after the final plan is adopted by government. This is expected to occur in mid 2010.
