When will the environmental assessment process officially start for the next phase?
The environmental assessment process for the Phase 1 and Phase 2 sites has been completed. For the Phase 2 sites, construction is well underway at Ingleside, Mallorytown North, Trenton South, Napanee, Woodstock, Port Hope and Odessa and is projected to start in May 2011 for Mallorytown South. As the current leases expire, the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario will continue to move ahead with planning, stakeholder engagement and environmental approvals.
