When will the eBusiness solution be implemented?
A Phase 1 implementation of the eBusiness solution will target those suppliers who currently use the CAPS and SLAM systems online. These suppliers will be given access to the new online claims module (replacing CAPS and SLAM), and the new supplier query function. Phase 1 will be rolled out in May 2003 and affected suppliers will have already received notification about that. All suppliers impacted by Phase 1 implementation will need to complete training before they can use the new online claims module. Phase 2 implementation of the eBusiness solution will target the remaining suppliers. These suppliers will be given access to the new supplier query function as of June 2003. We do not anticipate that Phase 2 suppliers will require training but we will be providing the opportunity for them to participate in a demonstration of the new system.
