I think the construction work will continue right upto Commonwealth Games that are to be held in Oct, though Shiela Dixit says it will be done by 31-Aug (source: http://commonwealthdelhi2010.blogspot.com/) However, having new and updated infrastructure is not such a bad thing. I can’t imagine Delhi without its flyovers and metros. Take case of ring road at Naraina. IT was a nightmare but now you can breeze past it in 5 minutes.
