Tonight on NBC, Merry Madagascar will air as a new Christmas special for the peacock network. A few months ago, word had spread that the popular animated film would make the jump to network television and it’s finally here. All the usual suspects from the cast will return with a brand new story to tell. Merry Madagascar will feature the voices of Alex (Ben Stiller), Marty (Chris Rock), Melman (David Schwimmer), and Gloria (Jada Pinkett Smith) as their famous zoo based alter egos. Even though their the main cast, we can’t forget the infamous, Penguins who will also make an appearance during the special tonight. It airs at 8/7c on NBC and will unfortunately run for only half an hour, which sucks, but Merry Madagascar will make another appearance on Saturday, November 28th. Madagascar is one of my favorite contemporary animated films, it’s running neck and neck with Ice Age.
