When will the cartoon avatar be back on nickelodeon?
The reason for the hiatus is that they want to release the episodes in bulk, meaning one episode every week for several weeks, as opposed to an episode one week, skip a month, another, etc. They have finished airing episodes 310 and 311, “The Day of Black Sun; Parts 1 and 2” on Nickelodeon. The next two, 312 “The Western Air Temple” and 313 “The Firebending Masters” have aired on Canada’s YTV, but still need to air on Nickelodeon. 314 and 315, “The Boiling Rock; Parts 1 and 2” must air before May 6th, the DVD release date. 316, “The Southern Raiders” and 317 “The Ember Island Players” come after that, but that is still a ways away from airing. And we can only hope that the four part, two hour season finale airs before the year is out(kind of a joke, but seeing as how Nick takes so long to release these episodes it is not impossible) DongbuFeng.net, a trusted Avatar fansite, had commented that the show will probably start up again on Nickelodeon sometime late March/ early April.
