When will the Boulder Creek Festival host a free concert of patriotic music?
On Sunday, May 25, the Boulder Creek Festival will host a free concert of patriotic music and marches at the Central Band Shell in Boulder. The performing band will be the Longmont Concert Band. On the program are marches from around the world and rousing patriotic pieces appropriate for the summer Armed forces Day, Memorial Day, and Fourth of July season. The concert starts at 10 am. It is fun and it is free. Get an early parking place, enjoy the music, and stay for the other afternoon creek festival activities. This is the second in a series of late spring and early summer concerts performed by the band and their third this year. The final concert in the series will be in Estes Park on June 25 and will open the city of Estes Park summer music series. It will be held at Performance Park on the west end of Elkhorn Avenue at 7 PM.
