When will the boat ramp re-open at Federal Point?
N.C. Wildlife Resources is finishing up a major renovation to the boat ramp at Federal Point. The new facility, which will include a ramp, docks and a parking lot, is expected to open in early May, said Carolyn Rickard, a spokeswoman for wildlife resource. There will still be some work to finish, and all of it will be done by mid May, Rickard said.
