When will The Beatles Rock Band be released on Xbox 360?
When it was announced that MTV/Harmonix had signed an exclusive deal with the Beatles many speculated what that meant. Later news hit that the Beatles would get their own Rockband game, similar to the Guitar Hero Aerosmith and Metalica offerings. but this would be different because it would be a “Beatles Experience.” So entering E3 this year we were hoping to see something with the highly anticipated game and MTV/Harmonix delivered. Not only did we get to see the Beatles onstage but we were able to demo the game as well. The game releases on September 9th, and I along with millions of Beatles, Rock Band, and Music Game fans are waiting for the day to come. Until then, here’s a little preview for Beatles: Rock Band. The Beatles: Rock Band is a music video game being developed by Harmonix Music Systems, published by MTV Games and distributed by Electronic Arts.[3] It is the third major console release in the Rock Band music video game series and, like other games in the series, it will allow players to simulate the playing of rock music by using controllers shaped like musical instruments. The game will consist of 45 songs by The Beatles spanning the band’s career, along with virtual depictions of the band members performing the songs. Future downloadable content for the game will feature additional songs and full albums from The Beatles, such as the entirety of Abbey Road shortly after the game’s release.
