When will the 2009 Spring season start and end, and how many games are played by each team?
Final schedules are still being worked out, but it is expected that the regular season wil run from late April through just after public school ends (tenative season ending date is June 27, 2009). For Instructional T-Ball and Rookie teams, the season will end on or about June 20, 2009, since there are no play-offs for these divisions. The season will be preceded by a period of team practices and practice games. Teams will generally be scheduled for two games per week. In general, the game days and times for each age division will be the same each week. During certain weeks of the year, or in order to make up rained-out games, teams may play a game during their regular practice time. For Instructional T-Ball teams, the regular season is slightly different. There is generally no practice during the week, just a game on Saturday.
