The Tempo/Greenlee/Klauke products fall within 3 of the 10 categories set in the WEEE directive; Category 3, Telecom & IT equipment; Category 6, Electrical & Electronic tools; Category 9, Monitoring and control instruments. Cat 3 & 6 products will comply before July 2006. Cat 9 products are exempt from the scope of the directive at present, but Tempo/Greenlee/Klauke will endeavor to be compliant by 2008.
