We’ll convert Jan. 21, 2007. This means our current legacy system will wrap up early this year and with only an eight-month cycle versus the usual 12-month cycle. Performance reports will be due Nov. 30, 2006. The first NSPS cycle will start Jan. 21, 2007 and close out Sept. 30, 2007. From there on it will be an annual 12-month cycle starting each Oct. 1. Q: Whom will be affected? A: All GS non-bargaining unit employees will convert to NSPS. This represents most of the federal civil services employees at Schriever. Q: Whom will not be affected? Why? A: Union employees and WG employees will not be converting to NSPS Jan. 21, 2007. There are two reasons for this: First, WG employees are on different appraisal cycles; and second, union employees will not convert until conclusion of an appeals process in the U.S. District Court. Q: What other bases in AFSPC are on NSPS? A: None currently. However, Patrick, Peterson, and F.E. Warren Air Force bases will convert Oct. 15, 2006. All other AFSP
