When will residents and businesses assume occupancy of Southeast False Creek properties after the 2010 Winter Games?
The Olympic Village will be handed back to the City and Millennium on April 7 for Millennium’s buildings, and April 30 for the City’s buildings and public spaces, and Millennium and their contractors will then remove the temporary carpet, install hardwood flooring, remove the protection system on kitchen cabinets and appliances, and apply the final coat of paint on the walls. Once this work is completed in the summer of 2010, residents will begin to move in.
