When will public hearings take place on the EIR and FEIR?
A public hearing on the DEIR took place on April 3, 2006 at the Hiller Aviation Museum before the Planning Commission and City Council. Hearings on the FEIR were held before the Traffic and Transportation Commission on January 24, 2007 and the Planning Commission on March 5, 2007. Both Commissions voted unanimously to accept the EIR as adequate and complete, and forward it to the City Council for final certification. The City Council is expected to conduct a hearing on the adequacy of the EIR in April 2007.
