When will patriots hold veterans day history for breakfast?”
Local veterans will have a chance to tell students at Connellsville Area High School their military stories when the fourth annual Veterans Day program is held at the high school on Nov. 10. For the past three years, students have invited local veterans to sit down with them for breakfast at the high school. It’s a project of the CAHS Patriots, which has just received 501C3 status. If a veteran doesn’t have a student to share breakfast with, one will be chosen. Breakfast will be served beginning at 8 a.m. Afterward, the veterans and students will head to the auditorium, where former Connellsville School District Superintendent Gerald Browell, a Vietnam veteran, will speak.
