When will my juvenile leopard gecko feel at home?
since he is a juvenile, dont expect him to be all cuddly right away After a week he should feel comfortable enough to eat in the tank (if he wasnt already eating) my little 4 month old, Ludo is still pretty jumpy with handling, but he doesnt run away when people go in the room any more (i’ve had him for about a month). Since he is such a little guy, everything must be so scary to him! Even my adults hide all day – they are nocturnal remember 🙂 If you get some waxworms or something you could try hand feeding him them just to build up some trust and to get him used to your smell. They generally calm down a whole lot when they get a bit bigger and older It all times time, dont worry – put enough time and effort in and i’m sure you’ll have a great little guy in no time!
