When will mumbo jumbo open at flamigno land?
Mumbo Jumbo is currently under construction at the Flamingo Land Resort, UK and is set to open in July 2009. The official park press release reveals that the Mumbo Jumbo opening will be attended by representatives of Guinness World Records. Andrea Banfi of Guinness World Records revealed; ‘We will be in attendance at the opening of Flamingo Land’s new roller coaster and look forward to this new Guinness World Records record in the steepest roller coaster made from steel category’. The coaster is an El Loco model built by manufacturer S&S Power featuring two inversions and will have a maximum vertical angle of 112 degrees, taking the record from Indiana Beach’s Steel Hawg. The ride will be 98ft tall and will allow riders to experience 4g of force during the ride. Mumbo Jumbo will be erected in the African-themed section of the park and will have orange supports and black tracks. The ride is set to open on July 4, 2009.
